Tailors Will Need to do Overtime!

You should check if there is enough space in your wardrobes. Why? Because you will need it! You will enjoy buying all the clothes you ever wished for. “I’m thankful for this opportunity to thank her!! She has enabled me to deal with the problems that are in my every day life with a smile and serenity” said Julie and her statement is representative for thousands of others!

How many people tried everything to lose weight? How many people are frustrated because the weight came back every time? Or worse, they even start eating more when they just think about going on a diet. That’s over now! There is a solution for all those people running from one disillusionment to another.
Here is the solution!

But, please allow me to introduce myself first. My name is Phil. I am from Belgium and I work in the field of personal improvement and spiritual growth. As a former EMT I have seen many overweight women and men. They all had serious health problems because of their overweight. All of them had tried already many diets, pills, tried to control their eating habits but nothing really worked.

But some did it. They changed their weight and modified it to their dream level, others didn’t. And those were really desperate. But, there is a reason why one can lose weight with a diet, another one with pills, another one with exercise and another one with another technique. And, of course, there is a reason too why some people simply don’t become overweight. They eat just like you and their body stays in a beautiful shape. So, here’s the question: Why did diets for you never work? Why came the pounds back after the diet?

It can’t be because of the diet. It may have worked for others. But not for you. Why? Don’t be afraid, you are not abnormal you are just different from other people. Everybody is different. What works for person A does not necessarily work for person B. That’s perfectly OK!

Here’s the good news: You can change your weight, too. You increased it so you can decrease it. You just need another approach. You are not condemned to live with a weight that does not make you feel happy about it. You can change it! Yes! And you know what? You deserve it!

The key is in your mind. Your subconscious mind holds the power to resolve the deep issues you may have with food and there is a unique and safe way to communicate with your subconscious mind: Hypnosis!

The University of Connecticut says about weight loss hypnosis: “An analysis of five weight loss studies reported in the Journal of Consulting and Clinical Psychology in 1996 showed that the ‘weight loss reported in the five studies indicates that hypnosis can more than double the effects’ of traditional weight loss approaches”.

If you are overweight, that means any weight that you don’t want for yourself (regardless what other people say), then there is a purpose for this weight. There’s a reason for this weight in your subconscious mind. Nothing happens to you without a reason for this in your subconscious.

The reason for the weight may vary. Not everyone is overweight for the same reason. Of course, in a way you are overweight because you eat too much or the wrong things. But why do you do that? What purpose serves the weight in your subconscious mind? How can you find this out? - Well it’s easier as you think.

“3 Steps to Permanent Weight Loss”

There is not another subject on the planet more confusing than weight loss. There are literally thousands and thousands of books written on the topic and each one disagrees with the next. But, there is a secret to permanent weight loss and it is simple.

The real secret to permanent weight loss is

The ability to sustain the daily practice of healthy, moderate eating and exercise habits long enough to attain the results you desire, and then continue performing these habits in order to maintain your results for lifelong success!

There is it. I know, it sounds simple but it is not! We live in a fast food, everything-should-be-easy, bigger-is-better society. Gluttony and instant gratification are the norm.

I believe there are three obstacles that thwart our ability to practice the healthy, moderate eating and exercise habits necessary to attain the results we desire, they are:

1) Getting most of our pleasure in life through the food we eat

2) Lack of long-term self-discipline in the areas of health and fitness

3) Lack of long-term self-motivation in the areas of health and fitness

Let’s take a closer look at each of these.

OBSTACLE ONE
Most people are so busy day-in and day-out that the food they eat is their greatest pleasure. This is a true danger that prevents permanent weight loss. If you’re burning the candle at both ends, rushing from one commitment to the next all day long, when you sit down to eat you want it to be extra good, because you deserve it.

SOLUTION ONE
Find ways to get more pleasure in a day. Have ten minutes of quiet time everyday reading your favorite book or magazine, spend a few minutes with a friend on the phone, or begin a new hobby that is fun. It doesn’t take a lot of time; just find other ways to load up on pleasure so that you don’t have to load up on food.

OBSTACLE TWO
Most people do not have the chip in their brains that allows for joyful self-discipline in the areas of health and fitness. Most of us have to be disciplined to get to work on time, meet deadlines, follow traffic laws, but not to limit food or exercise regularly. Some rationalize that since they have to be so disciplined in other ways they don’t want to be when it comes to their food and exercise.

SOLUTION TWO
To establish long-term self-discipline you must focus on the joy of the reward you will get at the end of the road, not the challenge of the journey. So make a list of the top ten rewards you will gain when you lose weight. You must also ask yourself what it costs you to be overweight. Does it cost you your self-respect? Your joy and aliveness in life? Has it cost you a relationship or a job? Remembering the rewards and the cost makes practicing self-discipline a lot easier.

OBSTACLE THREE
It’s easy to be motivated around January 1st, but what happens to all that motivation around March 1st? Or the first time a brownie passes by? Believe it or not, most people are not the master of their own motivation. They think just because they want it that it is motivation enough, and it is not.

SOLUTION THREE
You must reinvent your motivation every day. To do this write the top ten reasons you want to lose weight and keep it off. Also, make a list of the people who motivate you to want to lose weight and why. Review these lists, along with the ones you created above, in the morning and in the evening. Your motivation is ever evolving so what motivated you last week might not be motivating next week. So revise your lists regularly.

When you overcome these obstacles you will lose weight because over time, you will find other ways to get pleasure in your life, you will practice positive self-discipline and learn to live on less food and love it, and you will reinvent the motivation everyday to keep it all going.

The Glycemic Index is Your Key to Weight Control

How is our society doing today?

Let’s look at some facts. Today, two out of three adults in the United States and a staggering number of children are overweight. It is expected that, if current trends continue, 1 out of 3 children born today will develop type II diabetes. The rates of heart disease, stroke, depression, diabetes and many other chronic degenerative illnesses are rising. In fact, 1 out of 5 high school age children already have the beginning stages of cardiovascular disease in their arteries! I could go on for pages with these depressing statistics but hopefully I have made the point - We are not healthy.

Why is this the case? That’s really not a very difficult question to answer: too much low quality food and not enough physical activity. There have been thousands of studies to support this conclusion. Don’t believe what you read in the media headlines about the latest ground breaking diet pills or wonder drugs. There aren’t any truly legitimate fast fixes. If you want to regain your health and stay healthy it’s going to take some work. But you can start with small steps by changing a couple of simple things on a daily basis. Before long you’ll be amazed at how much better you feel. Let’s take a look at what we can do with our diets.

Why are we so fat?

Again, the answer to this question is somewhat obvious. We eat too much of the wrong kinds of food. Let me talk about something called the ‘glycemic index‘. This is a measure of how fast a food burns in your body and how fast it spikes your blood sugar after you eat. A high glycemic food burns fast and raises you blood sugar quickly and a low glycemic food burns slow and raises your blood sugar slowly. High glycemic foods are full of simple sugars, like high-fructose corn syrup and low glycemic foods have more fiber and complex sugars like those you get from whole grains and vegetables.

Why is this important? This is really your key to weight control. Your body needs to maintain your blood sugar in a very tight window. If you are always eating high glycemic foods then your blood sugar goes up fast and your body needs to take drastic measures to bring it down by spiking your insulin levels, a hormone that decreases blood sugar. This has the effect of crashing your blood sugar back down and this makes you feel very tired after you eat. It also makes you feel hungry again too soon because your blood sugar falls below normal and you crave something sweet to bring it up again - repeating the whole cycle. If you do this for many years, eventually your body stops reacting to its own insulin and you become pre-diabetic and have trouble maintaining your weight. If you pay attention to the glycemic index and eat foods that burn slowly you will have steady energy levels throughout the day, not get hungry as often, and not send yourself down the path toward diabetes. If you already have diabetes, then you probably know that low glycemic foods can help you maintain your blood sugar levels within the appropriate range. This is an extremely important concept in managing your weight. Forget all the crazy diets that don’t work, just pay attention to this and you’ll find yourself losing weight naturally.

Wishing you Good Health.
